Aims and Mission

Our mission is to create a happy, caring, safe Christian community, where everyone is valued, listened to and respected. Our faith is at the heart of, and permeates through, everything we do; every element of our lives is guided by Christian values. We nurture individuals, enabling them to become kind, thoughtful and compassionate. By inspiring a life-long love of learning we work to ensure each child achieves their full potential.
We inspire individuals to be independent, confident and culturally aware, not only understanding their own needs but those of others.
  • At Berkswell Church of England School we know that strong and positive relationships, founded on Christian values help create a dynamic, successful and happy school community.
  • As an ever evolving school we have created an innovative and inclusive curriculum which excites and motivates all; promoting enthusiasm for learning, celebrating individuals’ needs and talents. Children acquire a wide range of skills and knowledge, resulting in exceptional progress and achievement.
  • In exploring and reflecting upon Christian, spiritual and moral values, we encourage and develop in each other a true sense of self-motivation and worth. We understand the need for mutual respect for all members of our school family by embracing the diverse society we live in.
  • We celebrate the individual and diverse contributions of all members of the school community, creating articulate and socially responsible citizens for the future.
Teachers, support staff and governors debate and agree the school aims each year. In this way we never lose sight of our mission.
