These are the first Key Stage 2 assessments which assess the new, more challenging National Curriculum.  Results are no longer reported as levels, now each child will receive a scaled score.  This score runs from 80 - 120, with 100 as the expected standard.  The threshold for a high score has been set at 110.

Average Progress

A progress measure for reading, writing and maths is given.  These are in the range of -10 to +10, a score of 0 means that children on average made the same progress as others of a similar ability nationally in that subject.  Positive scores suggest they did better than average and negative that progress was not good.
