School Development Priorities 2016/2017

  • Reviewing of approaches to marking, ensuring consistency across all subjects and year groups.
  • Further develop school self evaluation both internally and externally to accurately identify and action areas for improvement.
  • Introduction of new whole school tracking and assessment a more integrated approach to monitoring children’s learning outcomes.
  • Complete a review of the teaching and learning of maths across KS1 and KS2 to improve outcomes.
  • By July 2018, a fully embedded and enhanced PSHE curriculum, in line with local and national initiatives, will have impacted positively on pupil health and wellbeing.
  • By July 2018, increase the number of pupils achieving greater depth in Maths and English. Use the new tracking system to assess depth of learning in maths across KS1 and KS2.
  • Develop the outdoor learning area in EYFS, to improve outcomes for pupils.
